The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County is pleased to announce its expansion to the Treasure Coast, providing services to a larger geographical region and additional opportunities for new and current members to promote their business to the fastest growing demographic in the nation.
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County was established in 1996 as a gateway to connect with and grow businesses through the Hispanic Community. Since its inception, the Hispanic Chamber has served as the voice of the Hispanic Business Community throughout the Palm Beaches in matters of leadership, governmental representation and community presence. Progressing from an organization that provided a path to education, assistance, and mentoring of the Hispanic Business Community, the Hispanic Chamber today serves as an important pillar of the community not just for Hispanics/Latinx, but for all demographics and business entities. Through the years, the Hispanic Chamber has received countless awards and accolades for its dedication to the community.
Over the last two years the Hispanic Chamber has evolved greatly providing a higher level of service and now stands ready to expand its reach to encompass the Treasure Coast Business Community, which according to the US Census has a Hispanic Population of over 90,000 with a growing number of Hispanic owned and operated businesses. The expansion comes as a result of merging of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce with the Hispanic Professional Network, a Treasure Coast organization that brought together Hispanic and Hispanic-American business owners and executives with the mission of raising awareness of the areas diverse population and positively affecting the community through their businesses and charitable giving.
By joining the two business communities, the Hispanic Chamber will now represent four counties including Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River; linking for-profit, non-profit, governmental, and educational enterprises and business leaders to network, connect and strengthen relationships in a much broader geographical area. The Hispanic Chamber will provide similar opportunities in the Treasure Coast as it has in Palm Beach County in order to promote business growth and development. These opportunities include leadership workshops, and educational seminars to assist small businesses with issues such as financing, legal, regulatory, and employment matters. As investing in education is essential for economic growth, annually the Hispanic Chamber awards educational scholarships to high school seniors and enrolled college students in order for them to pursue their educational goals. This expansion will open this scholarship opportunity to students living in the Treasure Coast.
While our Hispanic influence continues to grow, we strive to be a source of information for all who seek opportunities in this vibrant, exciting and diverse area we know and love. With the addition of the Treasure Coast, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will now serve a much broader business community through advocacy, business and economic development, education, and leadership.
